Configuring F-Secure
The following information shows you how to install F-Secure on your computer.
1. Installing F-Secure
After registering and downloading F-Secure, please click on the install file to start the installation.
2. Installation Wizard
Choose English and click Next.
2. License Agreement
Read through and agree to the license terms.
3. Subscription Key
Enter the Subscription Key that you received from EscapeNet.
4. Installation Type
Choose whether you want to install F-Secure with Parental Control. If you don't have children in the house, we recommend you choose Full installation without Parental Control.
5. Installation Folder
F-Secure will install into C:\Program Files\PC Protection by default, change this if you would like it to be installed in a different directory.
6. Running Preconfiguration
Please wait will F-Secure runs it's preconfiguration program.
7. Restarting
F-Secure will advise when your install is complete and will advise it is restarting your machine. We recommend you allow the restart to occur after install.
8. Validation
After restart, F-Secure will log into the Update Server to download any updates.
9. Installation Complete
F-Secure is now installed on your computer and you are fully protected whilst on the Internet.
